We guide you along the architecture of Barcelona's famous Modernisme architects Antoni Gaudí, Lluís Domènech i Montaner and Josep Puig i Cadafalch. Barcelona is the city with nine UNESCO World Heritage Sites - seven alone from Antoni Gaudí.
The tour will cover parts of the old town and the Eixample district, our little Manhattan of Barcelona and once constructed with the money of the wealthy high society of the Catalan capital. The city's bourgeoisie vied with one another to built the most splendid modernist buildings like the 'House of Bones' Casa Batlló or 'The Quarry' named Casa Milà. But on this tour we will run along more finest architecture like Gaudí's masterpieces, the church La Sagrada Familia and later the 'Underdog', but our favorite house, in Antoni Gaudi his collection of incredible architecture pieces. You like to know which one? Join us!
During this 10K tour it will also take us also through the gothic quarter and the district of El Raval. We will see the first works of Antoni Gaudi after he finished successful the University and also the place, where the life of Gaudi abruptly founds his end. Nowadays a place of peace and education.

Don’t worry! We adapt our pace to your pace. We are not on a race – this is a running tour and we will run a relaxed pace..
Just in case you like to use your running tour as a part of your race preparation training, just tell us which pace you like to run.
If you should have still concerns about any pace related question, just let us know by sending us an email.
Are there Stops on our Tours
The Weather - Rain or Snow
You should turn up at the meeting point as usual, where your guide will advise, if it is necessary to postpone the tour. Tours will usually go ahead, even if it is raining.
Please check your emails and your phone! Or just contact us if you have any doubts.
What should I bring to the Tour
Beside of a big smile, you should be prepared for the weather conditions during the different seasons. So normally light running equipment is absolutely sufficient for the summer climate. Especially in late spring and summer we always recommend to use any kind sun protection.
An extra bottle of water during summer season is recommendable. We will point out on water fountains with drinking water if available.
Should children join us on a tour, then it should be in summer time obligatory to use caps and sun protection (sun lotion SPF 50+).
And don’t forget, we can have sometimes also some rain! So please be prepared yourself by checking the weather forecast and with a light rain jacket.
Meeting Point
On our Private Running Tours and if your hotel/apartment is close to the city center or near the tour route in Barcelona, then we will meet you in front of your hotel/apartment main entrance. Unless otherwise agreed, the tour will then start and stop at your accommodation address. Very importantly, provide us with your hotel/apartment address when you make your tour reservation or when you contact us regarding a tour inquiry. Thanks!
If we can’t meet you at your hotel/apartment in Barcelona, then we will make you a proposal somewhere close to your address and the tour route or we will meet you at our standard meeting point in the center of Barcelona.
